About Polycarbonate

Polycarbonate (Lexan, Makrolon) is virtually unbreakable — 250 times the impact resistance of glass and 30 times that of acrylic. It's the material of choice for machine guards, safety glazing, and applications where impact resistance is critical.

Properties

Available Grades

Solid sheet (clear, grey, bronze), multiwall (twin-wall, triple-wall for roofing), and corrugated. Thicknesses from 1mm to 15mm solid, 4mm to 25mm multiwall.
