PTFE (Teflon)
PTFE sheet rod and tube for extreme temperature and chemical resistance applications. Lowest coefficient of friction of any plastic.

About PTFE
PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene), widely known by the trade name Teflon®, is an engineering fluoropolymer with an unmatched combination of thermal stability, chemical inertness and the lowest friction coefficient of any known solid. It performs continuously from cryogenic temperatures down to -200°C up to +260°C, and is virtually unaffected by any chemical. Used extensively in chemical processing, food production, pharmaceutical, electrical and sealing applications.
Properties
- Extreme temperature resistance -200°C to +260°C
- Lowest friction of any plastic
- Chemically inert to virtually all chemicals
- FDA food contact approved
- Excellent electrical insulation
