About Prismatic Diffuser
Prismatic diffuser panels are embossed acrylic or polystyrene sheets with a regular pyramid or lens pattern on one surface. The prismatic texture maximises light transmission from fluorescent tubes and LED strips while uniformly distributing the light and eliminating visible hotspots. Standard replacement panels for most commercial light fittings, also used in illuminated signs and lightboxes.
